Alkali Collective is more than a concert series. We are a growing community of artists, audiences, educators, and supporters working together to create and present contemporary music in Atlantic Canada.
Whether you attend concerts regularly, enjoy discovering new artistic voices, or believe in supporting the creation of new Canadian artistic work, membership is an opportunity to play an active role in the future of the organization.
As a member, you’ll help strengthen Alkali Collective’s long-term sustainability while supporting commissions, performances, educational initiatives, and community partnerships.

Community Membership
$35 annually
Community Membership is for audience members, supporters, and anyone who wants to stay connected with Alkali Collective.
Community Members receive:
- Advance notice of concerts and events
- Regular updates about commissions, recordings, and upcoming projects
- Opportunities to volunteer and participate in committees
- Invitations to member events and organizational updates
- The opportunity to help shape the future of Alkali Collective

Commissioning Membership
Support the creation of new Canadian music.
Commission Members make a larger annual contribution that directly supports Alkali Collective’s commissioning activities.
In addition to Community Membership benefits, Commission Members receive:
- Lifetime recognition for works they help commission
- Updates throughout the commissioning process
- Opportunities to learn more about new works as they develop
Every commission helps create new repertoire that becomes part of Canada’s contemporary music landscape.
Become a Commissioning Member
Artist Membership
Artist Membership is by invitation and is intended for musicians and artistic collaborators actively participating in Alkali Collective’s current season.
Artist Members contribute directly to the artistic work of the organization and participate in its governance through voting membership.
Other Ways to Get Involved
Membership is only one way to support Alkali Collective.
Members are invited to become involved through committees, volunteer opportunities, concert production, fundraising initiatives, and community engagement activities throughout the year.
As the organization grows, these opportunities allow members to contribute their skills while helping build a stronger and more sustainable future for contemporary music in Atlantic Canada.
