Alkali Collective is more than a concert series. We are a growing community of artists, audiences, and supporters working together to create and present contemporary music in Atlantic Canada.
Over the past six seasons, Alkali Collective has commissioned new works, presented contemporary concerts, supported early-career composers, and built collaborations with artists across the country.
As we enter our seventh season, we’re inviting audiences and supporters to become members of our organization for the first time.
Community Membership is a new way to become part of Alkali Collective’s future while helping sustain the creation and presentation of new Canadian music in Atlantic Canada.

Annual Season Launch
Join us for an informal gathering introducing the upcoming season. Meet the artists behind the ensemble, hear about upcoming concerts, guest artists, commissions, and special projects, and help us celebrate the year ahead.
Behind the Music
Selected opportunities to observe rehearsals, commission workshops, or other parts of Alkali Collective’s creative process, followed by informal conversation with artists and composers.
Community Recognition
Members may choose to be recognized on the Alkali Collective website as Community Members.
Membership Term
Community Membership follows Alkali Collective’s concert season (September-August).
Members joining after May 1 receive membership for the remainder of the current season and the following season.
